Five offers on one house, two of them all cash, and Hassan's buyer still won. That composure is the thing he teaches.
Hassan came to the U.S. from Lebanon and built his network here from zero. The goal he carried was plain: build something for myself.
The original plan was dentistry. He worked retail through college, then ran a Levi’s store for two years. Somewhere between the denim wall and the register, the thought landed: if I can sell jeans, why not sell houses?
His first stop was a big-name luxury brokerage. He gave it six months. The branding sounded right, the deal flow stayed thin, and so did his progress.
Then he joined Power. His first two months here taught him more than the previous six combined. He went all in, and over three years he closed 20 transactions while learning the part that outlasts any single deal: how to build a real estate business.
Today he’s one of our lead mentors. What happens when you work with him? He’ll tell you himself.
What Should You Expect From a Mentor?
Hassan believes in straightforward guidance, the kind that moves deals forward. His method starts with reading the agent in front of him: figure out what this person needs, then coach them straight, in plain words, from someone who has stood exactly where they’re standing.
“Success isn’t what I achieve alone,” Hassan says. “It’s how many people I help grow. That’s why I mentor.”
Joaquin’s First Two Weeks: A Million-Dollar Escrow
Two weeks ago, Hassan started mentoring a new agent named Joaquin. This is Hassan’s own report, two weeks in:
“In the last two weeks only, we’ve actually been able to open escrow on a million dollar deal. Quite crazy, quite amazing. And with a lot of hard work and effort, we were able to make this happen.
Not only that, but Joaquin now has three other pre-approvals with three different clients. Currently, right now, he’s showing somebody six homes. We’re going to come back, we’re going to write another offer, and we’re going to open another escrow.
Overall, the process with him has been amazing. He’s been very communicative. He’s been wanting to learn. He’s been wanting to be guided, which is allowing me to let him become the agent he’s been wanting to become. And I think that’s the leverage that allows me to make him a better agent, make him a better person, and also make me a better person at the same time.
I couldn’t be more proud. I just really look forward to seeing where Joaquin is going to be next year. Proud is an understatement for him. I think with just the work ethic that he has and him taking care of his wife, holding it down and doing what he does, it’s remarkable. It takes a really strong man to stand on his feet, and he’s doing exactly that.”
Two weeks in: a million-dollar escrow open, three pre-approvals, six homes being shown, and a second escrow on the way.
How does a brand-new agent get there? Joaquin arrived with the skill and the work ethic. What he needed was a system, and Hassan, paired with the right tools, the right support, and the right daily structure, supplied it.
The First 90 Days on Hassan’s Calendar
With Hassan as your mentor, the first 90 days run like this:
Weekly one-on-one strategy calls. On the calendar, every week. Real sit-downs where you dig into your activity: what’s working, what’s stalling, where the time went.
Live deal shadowing. Listing appointments, buyer tours, negotiations, escrow, closings. You watch Hassan run one. Then you run one with him in the room. Then you run your own.
Direct access, 7am to 9pm. Text, call, voice memo. Problem in the middle of a showing? You text, he answers.
Scripts and systems. The exact words to say, the exact process to follow, the exact daily rhythm that compounds. Playbooks proven in this market, on real files.
The three-deal intensive. Your first three escrows with Hassan beside you. After the third, you graduate to full independence, carrying the skills, the confidence, and proof that your system closes.
Hassan reads the situation first. Some agents need patience; first-time-buyer clients need firm, clear direction. He adjusts to the person. When something is off, you hear it straight, exactly how it should be done and why, in private, away from clients, with humor when it fits.
His superpower is composure under pressure. Five offers on the table, two of them all cash, and he keeps his buyer steady all the way to accepted and closed. He walks into the conversations most agents dodge (pricing, expectations, the tough parts) and walks out with the deal intact. Those conversations are where deals usually die. In Hassan’s hands, they’re where deals get saved.
The Machine Around the Mentor
Hassan’s one-on-one work sits inside a program built to support it.
Every new agent at Power is paired with a producing mentor: a real agent in your market, closing deals right now. Hassan has 20 transactions across LA and Anaheim and works in English and Arabic. And his income is tied to your production, so his success is measured in the deals you close. That alignment changes the whole relationship.
Around the mentorship, the brokerage adds four pieces:
A production-first culture. From day one you’re treated as an agent running your own business, with a mentor whose job is making sure the escrows you open reach closing.
Tooling that eats the busywork. The CRM handles the grunt work, so mentor hours go to skill-building instead of data entry.
Lead generation. Power feeds your pipeline, so there are live deals to learn on from week one.
A daily structure. Three hours of prospecting, two hours of follow-through, one hour of roleplay, every day, plus field activities at least twice a week.
That machine is why Joaquin opened a million-dollar escrow in two weeks, and why Hassan could coach him to it.
Is Hassan Your Kind of Mentor?
He answers that one himself:
“If you’re somebody who’s looking for somebody who can be straightforward with you, not sugarcoat things, and really tell you this is how we need to do this, and you’re that type of person, make sure to reach out to me. I’ll take care of you.”
If you work best with a mentor who reads you fast, tells you the truth early, answers the phone at 8pm, and stays calm while five offers sit on the table, Hassan is that mentor.
