Night and Day: Martin Pacheco on Leads, Mentorship, and an Englewood Close

Quality leads here are like night and day.

Martin had worked at other brokerages before Power, and the comparison on lead quality isn’t close for him.

Quality leads here are like night and day.

At his previous offices, leads meant chasing. Here, he says, they’re handed to him directly, and his job is to set the appointment, show up, and service the client.

A Zillow lead that became an Englewood close, and a friendship

One of Martin’s clearest wins came from a lead handed to him through Zillow and the office. It turned into a closed property in Englewood, and along the way, he and the client became genuinely close. He describes the whole process as a great experience end to end, one where the client loved the service he provided.

Role play three mornings a week, and contracts he can explain line by line

Martin trains Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, role play from 9 to 10, then another hour working through listing and buyer appointments. He points specifically to learning the BRBC, the buyer broker representation agreement, inside and out as one of the things that grew his business the most, especially with new regulations in California making that contract more important for clients to understand. Being able to walk a buyer through that agreement and the escrow process that follows it has made a real difference in how his clients experience working with him.

Mentorship that’s one-on-one, not general advice

Martin is direct about what sets Power’s mentorship apart from what he saw at previous brokerages: it’s not close.

The mentorship opportunities here compared to the previous broker are at, are like literally just, it’s through the charts. Jeff really works with me one on one, helping refine my skills and really dives deep onto the daily steps that I’m taking.

That one-on-one relationship covers what Martin is doing day to day and how to push each client toward the next step of escrow. He says plainly that he couldn’t have built what he’s built here without that support.

Tools that keep every deal moving

Follow Up Boss keeps him in contact with every client and lets the transaction coordinators see exactly where a deal stands and what’s needed next. RealScout, a newer tool the office has rolled out, automates listings to clients so they see new opportunities daily, which Martin credits with reviving business from clients who had gone quiet. An accountability sheet gives him a daily view of his own activity, so when something is slipping, he can see exactly where to focus.

Martin describes the culture as topnotch: a team where, if his mentor isn’t around, other agents in the office step in with guidance. If night-and-day lead quality and real one-on-one mentorship are what your business needs next, book a call and see what’s possible.
